RE.THINK Church is a network of disciples of Jesus who seek to saturate the 219 with the beauty, justice, and good news of Jesus’ Kingdom. We believe one of the best ways to saturate the 219 with the good news of Jesus is through Missional Communities.
- Our culture has a pretty huge problem... isolation. RE.THINK Church has a solution: Missional Communities. It's the link between Sunday morning gathering and making your spiritual journey a focal point of your life.
It's easy to join church and still feel anonymous. Missional Community gives you a "crew" — people who notice when you're gone, who you'll call when life gets hard, and who you're actually doing something with.
The honest pitch: if someone wants their faith to feel real rather than just religious, and wants to belong somewhere rather than just attend something, a Missional Community makes that possible.
What's a Missional Community? A Missional Community is an extended-family-sized group of Jesus followers (roughly 8-15 people) who are sent together into a specific neighborhood or network of relationships. Shaped by three rhythms —
-Spend Time with God.
-Spend Time together.
-Actively participate in God’s mission in their neighborhood.
Their shared life creates natural space for people who don't yet know Jesus to belong, be welcomed, and watch discipleship up close. It's the church being the church, not just on Sunday, but in the neighborhood all week long.
Fall Session of Missional Communities starts September 7 and will run for 10 weeks.
